OPI Liquid Sand "The Impossible" Review and Swatches

By now you all probably know about 'Mariah Carey' by OPI is an eight piece limited edition collection. The collection features 8 shades, out of  4 are liquid sand. Liquid Sand is glitter nail polish that dries to textured matte finish. So today I'm gonna review 'The Impossible' from Mariah Carey Collection.




Well this was an accidental buy! Because right now I am obsessed with anything matte be it on lips or nails!! So basically I wanted to buy OPI top matte coat but unfortunately they did not have it in stock. So when I saw Mariah Carey's collection I fell in love with their liquid sand collection. I mean glitter nail polishes that dry matte!!! How ahhMAZING!!!





"The Impossible" was a pinkish -red shade, and i love pink so i picked this one. The polish comes in 'liquid sand' capped OPI bottle. When you see the bottle you will immediately notice the star particles floating in the base.




The first coat was quite sheer. So I needed about 2-3 coats for this to be opaque but it was okay as you don't need a top coat.The finish was a sand texture matte finish with glitter. Sheer Love. The color is somewhat pinkish-red with load of glitter and those cute little stars at the bottom.
P.S. If you want the stars on each nail keep the bottle upside-down for a while before you apply it.


Pros:

1. The color its not red its not pink, the color is sooo pretty and it will go well on any skin tones.
2. Unlike most glitter nailpolish, this dried in to a matte nail polish and wasn't a rough finish.
3. The nailpolish lasted for 4 days without chipping which is really good.
4. Taking off the nail polish isn't a big task too.
5. Quick drying.

 Recommendation:

This is a pretty pink color, dries matte and quite long lasting! Worth giving it a try

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine (91) Boheme When I tried Chanel ,I knew for sure I was gonna get addicted to them. I was in Bangalore for almost a month and almost every week I went to the chanel counter and tried makeup on and I fell heads over heels in love with the Rouge Coco Shine  lipsticks.
