My views on Yves Saint Laurent Le Tient Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation:

Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation

I am the kind of person who loves foundation that are very light-weight in texture and look natural, almost like second skin or something. You know these natural foundations are great for everyday wear, where you don't want to look like you have layers of make up on yet cover the imperfections to give a flawless look.

A little about YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation: This foundation comes in 22 shades which is pretty impressive color range. These shades come in yellow tone, pink tone and neutral tones so all can be assured to find their perfect match here. I picked B50 which is a perfect match however I would like to try BD50 once I am done with this.

YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation has no opaque powders so its a very light radiant foundation. It's made using a soft focus gel so it kind of helps in blurring out imperfections and redness on the skin.

For me YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation has been one of the best foundations I have ever tried. Initially I was a bit skeptical about using an illuminating foundation on my otherwise oily skin, but the SA convinced me saying this will add a glow but not make your face shiny! It took me 2 days to actually decide to invest in this or not and after reading a lot of reviews I decided to actually own this.

The packaging is luxurious like most of the YSL products. It comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a golden pump and golden cap. I have no idea but I love golden packaging a lot!! So thats about packaging.

The formula of this foundation is quite good. Not too thick nor too thin somewhere in between which is absolutely brilliant. I take about 2 pumps of the product and warm it up with my fingers and apply it on the face. It literally melts on the skin and blend easily too. I love using my finger tips to use this foundation

because atleast for me it works best that way!

The coverage is medium but it can be built without looking as if you have layered a lot of product. Since this is an illuminating foundation it gives a subtle glow to the face that is not at all shiny. Since I have an oily skin I always use a matte setting powder to keep the shine under control. The foundation does cover up pigmentation and other imperfection, however if you have hyper pigmentation I strongly recommend correcting and concealing it prior to applying the foundation.

It lasts on my face for good 6-8 hours with occasionally blotting my face because the humidity is killingggg
me I tell you! Since it has an SPF of 19 I ended up reaching to this most of the time as I can totally skip the sunscreen! (I hate sun screen on my face because it makes the face sticky and I use it because its not a good idea to skip it. Darn!)

Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation

I have been wearing this almost everyday and I have literally fallen in love with it! I wore this to a friends wedding and I was flattered with compliments saying my skin is glowing. I tell you I hardly get compliments about glowing skin.

Pros:

1. Gives a nice glow to the face but does not make it
 shiny.
2. Has an SPF 19 which is good.
3. Medium coverage that is build-able that gives a natural look.
4. Has about 22 shades to choose.
5. Instantly brightens dull face.
6. Staying power is pretty descent if you use primer and set it with powder.
7. Did not look too greasy or shiny on my oily sensitive skin.
8. The packaging is luxurious and classy.

Cons:

1. Expensive!

2. Need to keep blotting under extreme humid conditions.
3. As much as i love the packaging, its not very travel friendly.
4. Availability!

Recommendation:

I would strongly recommend Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation for those looking out for more natural foundation that looks like second skin. This cover up light pigmentation and imperfections brilliantly but people with hyper pigmentation may have the need to use a concealer underneath. The foundation adds a subtle glow to the face without making it shiny.

Have you tried this foundation? Or which is your current favorite foundation? I would  love to hear from you. Please leave a comment below.
