My views on Lakmé Eyeconic Kajal Review and Swatches:

After I chose Maybelline Colossal Kajal over Lakme Eyeconic Kajal I felt I was a bit biased in my choices. I always thought that both are soo much similar and if i bought either one I would not be missing
much. Actually to an extent yes!!

Its black and turquoise packaging which is absolutely adorable. Its a twist-up pencil that is retractable and comes with a well fitted cap! Lakme Eyeconic Kajal is very richly pigmented but it isn't the blackest in first swipe but with 2 swipes it really is black. Its not the smoothest application but not bad either...Its a tad bit smoother compared to Maybelline Colossal Kajal. This glides quite easily but I wish it would be a bit better. I use it on my upper lash line and sometime on my water line, but I have not experienced any irritation so far. The kajal stays put for 8 hours without smudging or fading on my oily eye lids. On waterline it lasts for about 4-5 hours after which it fades away but that is totally okay.

And yes Lakme Eyeconic Kajal is waterproof! If it stays on my oily eye lids and in such humid condition I am sold for the claim. This kajal does not wash of with just water. I have to remove it with makeup remover.

Swatches:

Pros:

1. Budget eyeliner!
2. Lasts for good 8 hours!
3. Richly pigmented.
4. The packaging! Its adorable.
5. Smudge proof & water proof.
6. Does not irritate my eyes even when i apply it on my water line.

Cons:

1. The application as i said is not very smoothly.

Recommendation:

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal is a very long lasting and a very pigmented kajal. The application is not the most convenient one but the formula is good. Water proof, smudge proof and also does not irritate the eyes.
