My views on M.A.C Retro Matte 'Dangerous':
M.A.C Retro Matte ~ Dangerous |
M.A.C Retro Matte 'Dangerous' is a red with strong orange undertones. The finish of the lipstick is matte finish. The texture of this a bit different from All Fired Up, that was a bit creamier. Though the texture is dry it does not tug the lips, but if you have very dry lips its best to prep the lips before application. Dangerous is very pigmented, the color pay off is ahhmazing. It covers the lips in one swipe itself.
This lipstick lasts for 6-7 hours after which it leaves a light stain on my lips. Since the formula is drying, it does not glide easily on the lips. I have to exfoliate and hydrate my lips prior to the application.
The color actually brightens up the face and is very wearable. I think the color would suit light to medium skin tone.

The color is almost similar to Diorific Dolce Vita but that is more red and creamier, MAC Lady Danger is a bit more orange.
