Oh I love gifts! This gorgeous Paranoid Purple was a gift from the most lovely person Krithi Marla from Confession of A travel-hoo-lic. She has seriously a brilliant taste in make-up & travel (So please go and check her blog if you haven't already done it). A big thank you sweetheart.

Rimmel has some seriously good stuff! Its one affordable high-street brand I have come across. After using couple of eyeshadows I have realised that I love creamy eye shadows.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow sticks are priced at Rs. 415 for 3.25 g. These are available in 9 shades (I'm really unaware as to how many shades are available in India) and I have the shade Paranoid Purple.

Paranoid Purple is a gorgeous eggplant purple with teeny tiny micro-shimmer and is absolutely not the bothering types.  The packaging is lot like Lakme Drama Stylist Crayons but these are almost half the price and have almost double product. So this definitely wins a cookie point! However I don't like the fact that these needs to be sharpened hence leading to product wastage. :(

I personally feel that chubby crayon eyeshadows are best for those who don't have much time.These are basically cream eyeshadows in a stick. This is creamy & soft, it glides on the lids with ease. So there is no tugging or pulling. These are again highly pigmented you get a good color pay off in just 1-2 swipes. These are really easy to use, just swipe the stick on the eyelids and blend with finger tip or brush. What I felt with purple paranoid was that I have to very careful in  blending else it could end up looking a tad bit patchy. These dry super quick on the lids and once they are set they wont smudge. I noticed a bit of creasing when I did not have a primer underneath but with primer under it lasted for good 8 hours without creasing on my super oily lids. These are waterproof but not a major task to take it off at the end of the day.

Pros:

1. Soft and Creamy eyeshadow.

2. Glides effortlessly on the lids without tugging or pulling.

3. Super pigmented, good color pay off in just 2 swipes.

4. Once blended it wont smudge or crease with primer underneath.

5. The color is gorgeous perfect for smokey eyes.

6. With primer underneath it last for good 8 hours.

7. Reasonably priced!

Cons: 

1. These sticks need to be sharpened, hence product wastage.

2. Without a primer underneath it tends to crease.

3. Not easily available.

Recommendation: I will strongly Rimmel Scandaleye Shadow sticks! These are a super easy to  apply and blends fairly well. Lasts for a good 8 hours! Everything about this is super awesome!
