My views on Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defence with SPF 50+/UVA 28:

Cetaphil products are dermatologist's favourite for obvious reasons. These work so well and remain true to their claims. I have been having laser hair removal treatment and also chemical peels for my skin, so using a sunscreen is a must. I was asked to use this sunscreen by my dermatologist.

The product comes in a white squeeze tube with a flip cap. The cap fits perfectly and there is no mess which makes it travel friendly. The texture is runny creamy, and is yellowish in color. Easy to blend and gets absorbed in a matter of few seconds. Since it has a very high SPF it leaves a white cast when applied but then it fades away in approx 1-2 mins and I don't see any white cast after that. I was a tad bit disappointed because it does not dry matte but gives a dewy finish.

In my opinion, this is an ideal sunscreen if you have dry skin (it is very moisturising!) but can be a bit heavy on oily skin. Having said that it did not break me out at all which is good, because whenever i use heavy moisturising products on my face i have series of breakouts! It is fragrance free which of course i like! It actually works awesomely, I actually don't get a tan when i use this and my skin is manageable!

As its pretty much moisturising on its own, i dont use any moisturiser prior to the application. I always set it with compact powder because the dewy finish is so non appealing if you have oily skin.

Blended
Pros:

1. Very high protection with SPF 50
2. Protection against UVA/UVB rays.
3. Its very moisturising on it own, its an ideal sunscreen for dry skin.
4. Fragrance free.
5. Packaging is travel friendly.
6. Does not break me out.
7. It does not leave a white caste. (Initially it leaves but then it disappears say in 2 mins max)

Cons:

1. Not very appropriate for oily skin.
2. Has parabens!

Recommendation:

Oh yeah! Totally recommend this to dry skin girls and boys! It works pretty okay on oily skin if you are okay with dewy finish. Protects skin from tanning and does not break out or leave a white cast! A product worth giving a try.
