After loving my first YSL La Laque Couture  in  Beige Gallery , I couldn't resist myself from picking up another shade from the brand. The shade I picked is Bronze Pyrite 35 which is a metallic shade. These are available online and are priced at $25.  The packaging of all YSL products are hands down the most luxurious. It comes in a square bottle with a gold cap that had YSL etched on it. Apart from the fancy packaging, what really impressed me is the application. The brush is flat and wide which makes the application really easy. Just one swipe is enough to cover the entire nail! The consistency of Bronze Pyrite is slightly thick, so it's best to give it some time to dry before going on with the second coat. Its been a while since I wrote a  post, and that's because I have zero concentration of late. No matter how hard I try to concentrate on something, I fail. But now I am trying to focus on things that make me happy (blogging does!) and hopefully will write more often than before.  I have purchased a few skincare and makeup stuff lately that I have been trying, so here's a post on whats new in my stash!

Hello Everyone! I hope you'lol are having a fantastic week. I had been quite busy over the weekend. A short trip to Mumbai , hoped to shop a lot but ended up with few picks from Promod and Kerastase. 

Dior is addictive! I can NEVER  walk away empty handed from the store and this time I picked up Dior Vernis in Nuit 1947.  The nail polishes are priced at $25 and are available  Sephora  and in India you can pick it from Shopper's Stop or Lifestyle store. I have recently reviewed  YSL La Laque  which is absolute stunner, but this one is a bit better formula and finish wise. The formula is very smooth and applies evenly offering an opaque coverage in just 2 coats. The brush is fantastic and makes the application so much easier. Though the consistency is on the thicker side it dries quickly between the coats and gives a glossy finish. The nail polish is long-wearing with minimum chipping.  The shade Nuit 1947 (970)  is a blackened plum   with tiniest shimmer . Chanel Le Vernis Mirabella (623) I have always secretly wanted to indulge in Chanel Le Vernis  but was always skeptical to try them as they are known to vary in the formulation and come with  a high price-tag. This summer Chanel was full of brights - Pinks, Orange, Lilac and they were hard to ignore. There were 2 shades  that caught my attention were Mirabella and Tutti-Frutti . Anhoo, I ended up with Mirabella.

Maybelline ColorShow Glitter Mania Maybelline launched their new collection (which I'm sure is old now) of nail polish, that is color show glitter mania in 8 shades . Color Show nail polish were like the best thing launched by Maybelline , because the nail polish quality is really good and price tag is something why these have become such  a huge hit.  I went a little crazy over them again. I went ahead and picked up Downtown Red ~ deep red, Crystal Clear ~ clear top coat, Keep-up-the-Flame  ~ Bright red.

Hello my Darlings! China Glaze ~Light My Tiki I was browsing through  Snapdeal  and came across this ' China Glaze ~ Light My Tiki'  and I decided I would pick it. Its a glossy pinkish red  shade with tiny micro-shimmer. The color is lovely and I feel its a 'feel good' shade. The formula of this is absolutely stunning, goes opaque in just 2 coats. Its pretty long lasting too.. I have this on my nails for 2 days now and it hasn't faded or chipped, which is rare in my case. Overall I love China Glaze for the variety but hate that it never reaches India:(

There was a time when I was obsessed with Inglot   Nail Enamels a lottt! I wanted a nice glossy Cobalt Blue  nail polish like forever and I found this Inglot #942 . This must be the only nail polish that I have worn a gazillion times and since I am again obsessed with it I decided to do a NOTD.

Maybelline Color Show ~ Blueberry Ice (403) So finally Maybelline Color Show comes to India. I have no idea why they get such cute things sooo late in India. I was actually shocked to find these in a nearby beauty store..And even more shocked  happy because they were priced at just Rs. 75  how cool is that!
