My views on L'oréal Color Infallible Eyeshadow in Purple Obsession:

I had seen this while i tried Forever Pink, and i was totally in love with it. It was however out of stock, so while on my recent visits i picked this eyeshadow. Purple Obsession is a deep purple with purple micro-shimmer, it has black base which makes it unique.

Color Infallible claims to be 24 hour long lasting. Like seriously?? It lasts 4-5 hours without fading on my oily eyelids without primer, however it lasts 12 hours with primer i think its seriously great. The texture of this is great. It has a comfort of an cream eyeshadow and is easy to apply like a powder shadow!! The intensity of the color is totally dependent on how much layer of the product you use. I love to blend this with my finger because i get a better color pay off than when i use a flat brush. Most of the shimmer eyeshadows tend to have a lot of fall off but with this its nothing or may be a very minimal fall off, i think that is again another nice thing about this.

About the packaging, it comes in a sturdy transparent plastic jar with a nice screw lid. It also has a removable lid just above the powder that prevents from any spilling. As i told before, i dont find this a very convenient packaging because every time i need to use it i need to take the black lid off. Sigh! Lazy person that i am -_-

Pros:

1. The color is gorgeous!! If you wish to have one deep purple eyeshadow then grab this.

2. The texture, it gives a soft velvety finish.

3. The color pay off is better when you use finger than flat brush.

4. It last 4-5 hours without primer and 12 hours with primer.

5. Perfect shadow for night outs!

Cons:

I love how the shadow looks in the transparent jar, but its a tedious task to remove the lid every time i want to use the shadow.

Recommendation:

The L'oreal Color Infallible Eyeshadow are with comfort of a creamy shadow and ease of application of a powder eyeshadow. Gives a nice velvet finish. This shade is gorgeous purple i have ever had! The color pay off is great when blended with finger, lasts 12 hours with primer. Totally worth buying.
