Inglot Matte Lipstick 412 Review and Swatch

By now you all know how much I love matte and dark lipsticks. While I was in search for a nice wine red shade that had magenta undertones, I found one that was bang on Wine Red shade. I had to pick it.

You may call the Inglot Matte Lipstick 412 maroon, red wine, burgundy or crimson, but you can't escape the hotness of this shade!!

Product Description:

Matte Moisturising formula with Vitamin E, Avocado Oil and Macadamia Oil.

Price: Rs. 850 for 4.5 g.

Ingredients:

Packaging: Solid and Elegant black metal case.

My Take On Inglot Matte Lipstick in Shade 412:

Inglot has been one of my favourite brands for lipsticks and nail polishes! They have so many shades to chose from so you can surely find a shade that will suit you. I have loved their Freedom System Lipsticks a lott!!

Anyway, coming back to this, I call it wine red color lipstick (you may call it burgundy or maroon) with magenta undertones. This 412 shade is from their matte collection, like all the lipsticks even  this comes in a classic black metal case packaging! I absolutely love the packaging!

The scent of the lipstick is like sweet raspberry crush!! smells yum!! Its absolutely not bothersome and the scent fades away in just a few minutes.

The texture of the lipstick is creamy minus the shine and sheen. Its a true matte lippie!! It glides smoothly on the lips, but I personally feel exfoliating and moisturising your lips helps in giving a smooth matte finish. (We don't want lipstick colored flakes on the lips right?) This lipstick is incredibly pigmented and the color is build-able. If you like light application, just swipe it once on your lips, but if you love dark lips this color is super build-able. You can have a deep color with thick layer of lipstick!!

The staying power of the lipstick is just ahhMAZING!! By amazing, I mean it stays straight for 6 hours without application. The color does last through meals!! Incredible right? Once the color sets on your lips, it wont smudge or bleed at all. This matte lipstick is not overly drying, it does have some moisturising but again its not recommended for girls with very dry lips.

Pros:

1. Very elegant packaging!

2. Nice pleasant raspberry crush kinda scent!
3. Its a moisturising matte lipstick.
4. Nicest burgandy shade that would flatter most of the skin tones.
5. The staying power is impeccable.
6. The color does not bleed or budge.
7. The pigmentation is fabulous!!
8. Paraben free & not tested on animals.
9. The color is build-able, you can keep it light and also have a thick blanket of deep color.

Cons:

None!! If you dont like matte then this might not be for you.

Recommendation:

This is an absolutely gorgeous color perfect for spring or any season for that matter. Inglot is an amazing brand, gazillion shades to choose from. Absolutely lovely formula!! I love this!!
