4 Ways I Love to Use Aloe Vera for Skin and Hair

Aloe Vera also known as "Miracle" plant is packed with 18 amino acids, 20 minerals and 12 vitamins. Which have amazing healing properties that are great for skin and hair.

Aloe Vera as Eye Makeup Remover:

Aloe Vera is great to remove all the traces of your water proof eye makeup. Simply mix equal parts of Aloe Vera and Almond Oil. You can store this in a plastic bottle. Shake well before you use then use it in on a cotton pad and place it on your eyes for 30 seconds. They completely remove the makeup. Its gentle, soothing and de-puffs eye bags while help you in lightening dark circles.

Aloe Vera as a Natural Moisturizer:

Use Aloe Vera gel straight from its leaves on your face. This hydrates your skin without making it look greasy.  Aloe Vera helps in keeping the skin soft, healthy and acne away because of its healing properties.

Aloe Vera as a Spot Remover:

You can now lighten those ugly acne scars on your face.

Spot Treatment Recipe:

2 tsp Fresh Aloe Vera Gel
1 tsp Fresh Juice of Lemon
1 tsp Vitamin E Gel

Mix above ingredients and store it in a plastic container. Now using a Q-Tip apply it on dark spots twice a day. You can see visible difference in just few weeks.

Aloe Vera as a Deep Conditioner:

While some time back I was battling with hair loss and roughness of my hair, my aunt suggested Aloe Vera Mask and after using twice a week for few weeks my hair has become manageable.

Deep Conditioner Mask:

1 cup Aloe Vera Gel
5-6 Hibiscus leaves ground to fine paste
1 cup Coconut Oil warmed on a double boiler.

Mix all the ingredients and let it cool. Apply the above mask 30 mins before shampooing your hair. You can gently massage your head for better benefits. Store the remaining mix in a plastic bottle for further use.

This stuff promotes hair growth, prevents hair loss and deeply conditions the hair.
