Those of you who know me, know that I love matte finish lipsticks but then I secretly wished to own a sheer red lipstick and Dior Extreme Addict Fireworks was perfect. These have become my favourites along with the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine because the formulations are so comfortable.

Dior Addict Extreme lipsticks comes in a very luxe packaging, blue with silver accents and has Dior embossed on it! These lipsticks contain 3.5g of product. The lipstick comes with slanted tip which kinda makes the application easy! They have about 22 shades in total, but mostly all are sold out:( I am eyeing the Black Tie lipstick.

Fireworks is a cherry red. The lipstick is pigmented enough yet very sheer if that makes sense. The texture is smooth & buttery and glides on lips with ease. The finish of the lipstick is cream with high gloss finish. The lipstick gives a plumping effect to the lips. It can be used as a sheer lipstick during the day and can be layered for more dramatic color for the night. The lipstick feels almost lightweight on the lips almost like you have nothing on. I just love that about it! Dior Addict Extreme has become my current favourite and have been reaching out to this almost every single day. 

The lipstick is moisturising, does not settle on fine lines. However I strongly suggest not to use a lip balm underneath because the lipstick slips of the lips making it difficult to apply. Though the lipstick is sheer it lasts for good 3-4 hours and leaves a nice cherry stain to the lips for 6 hours or so.

The color flatters almost all skintones.

I was in Bangalore for almost a month and almost every week I went to the chanel counter and tried makeup on and I fell heads over heels in love with the Rouge Coco Shine  lipsticks.
