Who knew lip glosses would be my thing! At this point I'm obsessed with them, and added Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in Jalousie to my collection. These are priced at Rs. 1700 and available at Chanel counters. (Those of you in B'lore please check Lifestyle Kormangala)

I adore Chanel packaging, they are simple stunning and classy with gold and black accents. This comes with a doe foot applicator which picks up right amount of product and applies evenly on the lips. The Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer are glosses with shimmer, however on the lips they are non-gritty and shimmer becomes less prominent.

The texture of the gloss is super light-weight and absolutely non-sticky. The consistency of the gloss is a bit thick so be careful when you layer it might end up looking cakey. The finish of the gloss is high shine with micro shimmer that does not look over the top at all. These are very richly pigmented and can be worn on its own or over a lipstick for more drama! These last for a good 3-3.5 hours after which, I need to reapply. These are quite moisturising and feel super comfortable on the lips.

The shade Jalousie is a very bright raspberry pink with micro shimmer. The shimmer as is said is non-gritty and not too over the top too.

Overall, I am super impressed by Chanel Glossimer, the formulation is outstanding. I adore lipglosses that non sticky and I am looking forward for trying some other shades in this range.

Have you tried the Chanel Glossimers before? Do you have any recommendation?

xoxo
