 My views on Revlon PhotoReady Kajal in Emerald Empire (003):

I had been pick the Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume mascara but since that was not available I was randomly checking out colored liners and Revlon PhotoReady Kajal caught my attention. Honestly I loved the Emerald Empire mainly because both the colors were good and the other two were not all that great.

PhotoReady Kajal is a dual-ended eyeliner with Dark  Shade (Emerald) on one end and Light Shade (Empire) on the other. Actually for me it’s an all new concept!  The Emerald shade is teal with hints of blue while Empire  is a nude shade that is a brightener. Revlon claims these to be creamy and to glide smoothly, but I slightly disagree to this. Both are creamy but they could have been a bit more smoother, though they can be applied without tugging I would not say it glides effortlessly. The wear of Emerald is as less as 1-2 hours. It bleeds and smudges and gets all over my eye lids. Annoying in this humid conditions.  Since I have oily lids I decided to use an eye primer before I apply this just to check the wear I was disappointed cause it smudged. Overall I was disappointed with Emerald shade.  I feel these could be ideal for smokey eyes. Empire on the other hand did last a little longer say 3-4 hours since its a nude shade you can hardly notice if it smudges. But I like what the brightener does to the eyes. It instantly opens up the eyes and adds life. I like Empire over Emerald.

The color pay off is really great. Both the shades are very pigmented and gives a gorgeous color in just one swipe. I would have loved these if they did not have smudged and lasted a lil longer.

Pros:

Cons:

1. Emerald lasts for just 1 hour.

2. Smudges and gets messy. Even more if you have oily lids.

Recommendation: 

Revlon PhotoReady Kajal in Emerald Empire is ideal for smokey eyes. The concept is quite unique and both the shades are gorgeous. However if you are looking for color eyeliner that would last all day then this may disappoint you.
