After the success of Lip Crayons, most brands have launched their Eye Shadow Crayons, and Lakme has joined the trend right on time. Since I am not an eyeshadow person, I did not try Eye Shadow Crayons from any other brand. So I cannot compare it with any other.

Lakme describes Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Crayon as Sultry, Somber or Sassy. Women love drama! Unleash your drama quotient with Lakme's Drama Stylist Crayon. 

These are priced at Rs. 750 and is available in eight shades including white, turquoise, purple, olive, pink, bronze, grey and blue. I picked Bronze.

Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Eye Shadow Crayon is a chubby crayon pencil that needs to be sharpened so there is gonna be product wastage. The packaging is just about okay I am not very impressed.I would love to try Clinique Chubby Stick Eye Shadow Tint because its a twist up chubby crayon and packaging is cute.

The color Bronze is actually a metallic bronze with shimmer. The texture of the crayon is soft and glides with ease on the eyelids without tugging or slipping. It can be blended with ease but since this dries super fast you should be really quick in blending. I recommend doing one eye at a time. Though the finish is metallic with shimmer it does not look too loud on the eyes. I love the color and it can be worn both day and night. Once it sets, its smudge-proof and waterproof.

These Eye Shadow Crayons are insanely pigmented. One swipe and this gives an intense color payoff. Though it has shimmer it does not look chunky at any point. The staying power is good but not great on my oily lids. It lasts about 6 hrs with a primer and after which it fades away lightly but its not gone!

Pros:

1. The texture is soft and silky.
2. Glides on my eyelids effortlessly without tugging or pulling.
3. Insanely pigmented.
4. Lasts for about 6 hours on my eyelids which is great for me!
5. Once it sets, it wont budge.
6. Smudge proof and water proof.
7. Though there is shimmer and its a metallic finish its very wearable.
8. This color in particular will be flattering on any skin tone.
9. Wide color selection has 8 shades each of the are unique.

Cons:

1. Boring packaging.
2. Pricey considering its LAKME.
3. Since it needs to be sharpened it leads to product wastage.
4. Dries fast, so need to be quick in blending.

Recommendation: I feel Eye Shadow Crayons are a lazy girls blessing! These are easy to apply and blend. Very pigmented and soft, glides easily on the lids. These are waterproof and smudgeproof lasts also for a decent amount of time. I only wish they had been priced little less or for the price the packaging could have been better.
