Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy in Rebellious Rose

Estee Lauder is one brand that never caught my attention, atleast their lipsticks. I found them to be boring for my liking and the packaging to be tacky. So when the Press Release of Pure Color Envy was sent, I silently wanted to ignore. But then Krithi insisted that I should give this a try, and let me tell you girls that I am NOT disappointed.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy has launched 20 shades, which means there are lot of colors to chose from. The shade that I picked is Rebellious Rose and is priced at INR 1950. You may buy them from Estee Lauder stores in India.

The packaging of this is luxurious and sophisticated in glossy navy blue case and gold accents. Also it comes with a magnetic closure cap which makes it even more cool. I think the lipstick is very travel friendly. The texture of this super creamy and soft, it just glides so well on the lips without tugging. The lipstick is very pigmented, one swipe and it goes opaque on the lips. They apply evenly and they DO NOT bleed or feather despite of being super creamy and hydrating. The finish of this is creamy with a soft sheen.

Since these are very moisturising, I did not expect them to be very long wearing. But on my lips they last for about 4 - 4.5 hours, after which it fades away evenly leaving a subtle stain behind.

The shade Rebellious Rose is dust rose with hints of coral. I find this color to flattering on most skin tones.
