I am finally reviewing L'Oreal Shine Caresse lip stains. I was intrigued to try this because they have been hailed as YSL Glossy Stain dupes. These have been around for more than a month now, and I had a lost and found story with this one. Anhoo they have 8 shades to chose from, and the shade I picked up is Bella which is a pretty peachy rose.

L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Color comes in a pretty gold packaging and has a transparent window which makes it easy to locate the shade. What  I really like about these is the applicator
it is spade like and hugs on to lips and makes the application a pure delight.

Bella is a gorgeous coral that has strong red undertones. The thing with these Shine Caresse is that they could be slightly deceiving, they look different in the tube and once I apply on the lips it appears totally different. The texture is on the watery side. It feels so light on the lips but I did not find it very hydrating rather it leans towards dry-side. I always like to apply a lip balm underneath before application of this and it works just fine. This applies applies quite sheer on swipe, but the color is totally build-able by layering it 3-4 times. What impressed me about these is that once it sets leaves the lips looking  glossy and its sort of transfer proof. This survives a coupla drinks but not a full course meal. These lasted on my lips for a good 4 hours which is impressive for a gloss. 

The downside for me was that these faded unevenly which does not look presentable at all and also these were kinda drying on my lips after a couple of hours.

Overall, I quite liked these and they are priced reasonably also (Rs. 499/-). These are perfect lip products are perfect for someone who loves sheer lipstains.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine (91) Boheme When I tried Chanel ,I knew for sure I was gonna get addicted to them. I was in Bangalore for almost a month and almost every week I went to the chanel counter and tried makeup on and I fell heads over heels in love with the Rouge Coco Shine  lipsticks. The thing with these are a few are super pigmented and some are very sheer. I kinda liked both the offerings.
