Colorbar I Glide Eye Pencil in Amethyst Spark: Review & Swatches

There are few things you fall in love at first sight and these Colorbar I-Glide Eye Pencils were just love at first swipe, I would have bought them all... but then i picked up Amethyst Spark and Coal Mine! Today i am reviewing Amethyst Spark.

My View on Colorbar I Glide Eye Pencil in Amethyst Spark:

Amethyst Spark, very true to its name is Amethyst Purple with purple sparkles! This is the purple shade I always wanted. The Colorbar I Glide Eye Pencils have an incredibly soft & smooth application, and are very pigmented. One swipe is all you need! They add instant glamour to your eyes, I apply a thick layer on the upper eye!! and sometimes i use it on my water line too... This does not irritate my eyes at all!! The color lasts through without fading for straight 6 hours which is great considering the fact that I have the most oily lids. I absolutely love the fact that it does not smudge at all, its waterproof and does not transfer! So yay!!


I love everything about these I-Glide pencil except the fact that they are really tough to be sharpened. Since the texture is creamy, it breaks while sharpening so there is a wastage of product. The packaging is quite simple, a silver plastic pencil with colored ends which makes it easy to locate.

Pros:

 1. A true amethyst purple with lots of sparks!
2. Great texture, that glides so smooth on your eyes.
3. Richly pigmented, just a swipe and you are sorted.
4. Last for long hours without smudging or fading.
5. Safe for sensitive eyes too.
6. Waterproof.
7. The glitter does not go all over the place.

Cons:

 1. Not very easy to sharpen:(


Recommendation:

 Colorbar I glide in Amethyst Purple is a gorgeous purple with lots of purple shimmer, a perfect glamorous purple. Incredibly soft and smooth application, richly pigmented and last through the whole day without fading!!
