Chanel Le Vernis Mirabella (623) |
I have always secretly wanted to indulge in Chanel Le Vernis but was always skeptical to try them as they are known to vary in the formulation and come with a high price-tag. This summer Chanel was full of brights - Pinks, Orange, Lilac and they were hard to ignore. There were 2 shades that caught my attention were Mirabella and Tutti-Frutti. Anhoo, I ended up with Mirabella.
Mirabella is described as orange. This is definitely a vibrant orange but not in any sense neon. Mirabella is a warm toned orange which will look fabulous on Indian skin tone. The shade is perfect for summer and I'm happy to say that I quite like the formulation of these! The consistency of this is just right, it applied evenly and did not feel streaky in any way. While it needed two coats for the true color to show, it dried quickly and had a glossy finish. The nail polish lasted about 4-5 days without any chipping and that was without a top coat.

Now these Chanel Le Vernis are a pricey affair (Rs. 1600) but they are just so worth it! The packaging is gorgeous, the finish is glossiest I have ever tried. I would definitely look for more shades. I will definitely recommend you to try these.
