Clinique is the brand I am currently hooked on to.. They have some incredible products to suit different skin types. My hunt for a moisturiser was narrowed down to clinique. Clinique had 2 versions of this moisturizer: Lotion for normal-dry skin types & Gel for combination -oily skin. Since my skin type is acne prone and oily the best choice for me was Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.

I love the packaging! It comes in a semi-opaque frosted plastic bottle with a pump dispenser and a cap that fits perfectly. The packaging is very travel friendly. The pump dispenser is very nice, it dispenses the right amount of product leading to less wastage.Also I find the packaging to be very hygienic. The gel has light yellow hue to it and like all clinique products this is fragrance free and is formulated to be allergen free.

This moisturizer is ideal for my combination/oily skin , its very light-weight in texture and has a runny gel-like consistency. I take about 2 pumps of product for my face and neck, it absorbs in super quick and gives a velvet-y matte finish to the skin. I love how my skin feels soft and supple. This keeps my face from turning oily for about 5-6 hours which is absolutely stunning. I do tend to get dry patched around my cheeks and jawline and this takes care of it perfectly. However if you are more on the drier side, I recommend Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, as its much more intense and hydrating in comparison to the gel formulation.

This Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel acts as a base for my foundation too. As it absorbs in quickly and gives a nice velvet finish, foundation glides effortlessly and lasts quite long. Well I am rather happy that it does not have an SPF because most of the time I do tend to wear makeup with SPF. Also its not very moisturising at night, but I do a lot of layering of products so this works perfect as its quite lightweight. Like almost all clinique products this one too did not break my skin out.

Pros:

1. Very light-weight in texture and absorbs in quickly.

2. Gives a skin very nice velvet-y matte finish.

3. Makes my skin soft and supple.

4. The packaging is classy, travel-friendly and very hygienic.

5. Does not have any weird fragrance and is allergen tested.

6.A little product is all you need, so a little goes a long way.

7. Did not break me out.

8. Works as a good base for make-up.

Cons:

1. If you like intense moisturising properties then this is not for you. (I recommend you to try Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.

2. Its on the pricier side.

Recommendation:

I am gonna strongly recommend Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel to all you oily/combination skinned beauties. I love the texture and finish of the product. It has no annoying fragrance too. Overall a brilliant product!
