Sadly for me I belong to the latter category. I love the natural finish that my YSL Touche Eclat Foundation offers but the coverage is light-medium. RiRi Hearts MAC Holiday Collection RiRi Hearts MAC   holiday collection has been launched few weeks ago in India . At first I had decided on 'Pleasure Bomb' lipstick which is a matte fuchsia, unfortunately it did not reach Bangalore at all.  So I decided to pick 'RiRi Woo' only for its drool worthy packaging. Maybelline Lip Polish in Glam6 Maybelline had some phenomenal launches in 2013, and with launch of Lip Polish (Color Elixir Liquid Lip Balm in other parts of the world) in India I'm hoping 2014 is gonna get better. There are 15 shades available in India. The color range is also good, they have nudes, peaches, pinks, red & plum . The shade I picked at the moment is GLAM6. Maybelline Lip Polish are compared with YSL Glossy Stains , however I haven't tried them so won't be able to compare.

Clarins  has been very generous in giving a lot of samples so I have enough samples that last about 2-3 weeks easily, so I thought why not have sample reviews  where I will mention if I am gonna buy the full size or give it a pass!

Toxic metals in beauty products This morning when I woke up, the first thing my mum asked me to read was about the article " Toxic metals in beauty products"  on TOI . I took it quite casually as most of what comes in newspaper is made-up.  But as I read through I was shocked by what I read. We beauty bloggers try & test a hell lot of products on our skin. Is it worth all? I am just shocked that reputed companies have been so irresponsible. Though I do a whole research on the product before I buy, there are days when I actually like something and don't bother reading the ingredients list. We can probably take care by reading the full ingredients list , discarding products once the shelf life is over & doing a deep study about the brand. My hunt for a moisturiser was narrowed down to clinique.  Clinique had 2 versions of this moisturizer: Lotion  for normal-dry skin types & Gel  for combination -oily skin. Since my skin type is acne prone and oily the best choice for me was Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. 

A few days back while I was waiting for a friend, I decided to check out Maybelline counter and the SA told me that they have a new and improved Maybelline gel liner , and I was intrigued to try. Also it had some wonderful recommendation by fellow bloggers. So there I went ahead and bought this. New Maybelline 36H Lasting Drama Gel Liner ~Black The New Maybelline 36H Lasting Drama Gel Liner  comes in a Square Cut plastic jar as compared to the frosted glass jar. I personally love this packaging over the old one. This one is more travel friendly. It also comes with eye-liner brush which sturdy yet soft, pretty decent no complaints on that.

M.A.C   Divine Night is one of their newest holiday/limited collection that had some really nice products, I wanted this Mineralize Eye Shadow Duos in Tonight's Temptation the moment I had a look on the website. MAC Divine Night Mineralize Eye Shadow are available in 6 versions (limited edition)  and have 2 shades in one pan. There is a large segment, and a smaller segment that can be used on its own.

Maybelline Baby Lips Color ~ Neon Rose I have been obsessing over the Maybelline Baby Lips  ever since I tried them. Since I wear matte lipsticks 90% of the time, I reach out to these more than often. With their newer baby lips ~color  I was just too curious to try them. Hence I picked up Neon Rose .
