My views on Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Cream:

Nivea is one drugstore skin care brand I can rely on. This is a very lightweight moisturizer that has a consistency of a thick lotion. The fragrance is typical 'Nivea' kind, I m not a huge fan of it but its okay! I apply a little bit of product on my hands and legs... it feels kind of sticky but that sticky feeling just goes off in a matter of few minutes. The cream keeps moisture locked on hands and feet for long hours.

My very good friend actually suggested i use this cream on my face and follow up by rubbing ice cubes, and that gives a natural blush and glow to the face. I was skeptical because I m obviously not blessed with good skin, it breaks out and I was not gonna take any risk. My face had suddenly gone dry!! It was soooo rough and literally unpleasant to even touch it and i started applying this to my face and I was amazed how it added moisture and took that dryness off!

I am not a big fan of tub packaging because its unhygienic to dip the fingers every time in the tub. So nivea soft come in a white and powder blue tub. Looks cute but nothing fancy. The texture of this cream is more like that of a lotion. Wouldn't be a very ideal option for travel because there could be spillage. Apart from this, i don't like the fact that it contains alcohol and has parabens.

Pros:

1. A very light moisturiser that instantly adds moisture and locks it for long hours.
2. Works great on dry skin.
3. The texture is that of a lotion and gets absorbed in a matter of few minutes.
4. Affordable.

Cons:

1. Tub packaging- unhygienic and not very travel friendly too.
2. Has parabens!

Recommendation:

If you are on a lookout for a good moisturiser during winters that fits in your budget, then Nivea refreshingly soft cream will not disappoint you! It can be used on face and body too!
